Rules Of Comnposition
RULE OF THIRDS: The character in this image is placed to the right while the text is placed towards the left. This has been done to separate both the text and the character from each other and so its not all on top of each other.
AVOID THE MIDDLE: The character here has been centred in the middle which separates the character from the background. Depth of field has also been used on this to separate the character from the background. It can be good or bad, but in this case it works well as of the DOP.
LEADING LINES: Here the character is pointing towards something. this is a suttle example of this as the audience is drawn towards the object/person/thing he is pointing at.
RULE OF ODDS: Rule of odds suggests the more things you have in an image will be a lot more interesting than having one, as it draws the audiences attention more. this image of toy story is a great example as the majority of the characters from the film are there.
